The ECEP is based on the most advanced and robust curriculum in the United States, High Scope. It enhances and accelerates the learning process for children. Through our exceptional faculty, curriculum, activities, thematic days and other such methods; our students get a head start on education.
The ECEP is provided to enrolled students from 7:00 AM till 2:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday (national and other designated holidays excepted).
The Day Care Program provides for supervised activities such as arts and crafts, sports, music, theater, reading and indoor games. It is a relaxed extension of our ECEP that builds on and reinforces much of the activities and lessons provided earlier in the day.
It is offered to children (whether or not they are enrolled in our ECEP) enrolled in the Day Care Program from 2:00 PM till 6:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday (national and other designated holidays excepted).
The summer camp program at Laurel is always fun and engaging and it offers children opportunities for exploring new concepts, environments, and activities both indoor and outdoor. It also offers a wonderful opportunity for children to make new and lasting friendships. Our program organizes children by age and encourages their expanding ability to make choices, take on responsibilities and work and play with others.
Our camp teachers work together to develop a fun curriculum and program that takes advantage of summer. They use playgrounds, the facilities of the surrounding community, and special visitors as an extension and tool of the camp in order to help children discover language, math, science, art, our world, their own awareness and social skills.
No matter the activity or environment, we ensure that every aspect of the camp is safe, developmentally appropriate, has educational value, and is, without question, fun!
